For power plants and other large scale industries that need to pump considerable amounts of cooling water directly from the sea, we offer the Wallenius AOT 250, which has been specially developed for major flows. This is the same product as that used in the certified award-winning ballast water purification system, PureBallast.
With Wallenius AOT at the heart of a purification plant, security is easily improved as algae, mussels and barnacles are prevented from entering the system without the use of chemicals.
Wallenius AOT 250 can also be customised for very high flows.
Tested, approved and award winning
Not only has Wallenius AOT been tested at the Vitens laboratories and meets the Netherlands’ stringent new guidelines on Legionella in drinking water, BRL K14010-1/01; this chemical-free technology has also been integrated into the PureBallast water purification system, the first chemical-free product to be approved by the UN’s International Maritime Organization (IMO) as a solution to the problem of ballast water.
Space-saving design, minimal maintenance
Wallenius AOT 250 is remarkable in its compactness and simplicity. The modular equipment fits easily into space available, thanks to a block component structure. Because there are no moving parts and few consumables, the Wallenius AOT 250 can be maintained with minimum efforts.
