Wallenius AOT is used to purify everything from drinking water to ballast water in vessels that cross the world's oceans. The technology is the heart in PureBallast, the first chemical-free method for purifying ballast water to have gained the full approval of the independent global certification organisation Det Norske Veritas and the UN's International Maritime Organization. PureBallast has been developed by Wallenius Water and Alfa Laval and PureBallast is sold by Alfa Laval.
